An interactive whiteboard is a large display/input device that connects to a computer and projector. The projector displays the computer's desktop onto the board's surface. Users can control the computer using a sylus, remote, or finger. The display board is often mounted on a wall or on a stand which can be moved around. Most interactive whiteboards include some type of tool software for developing interactive presentations. Many offer individual audience response systems, that can be purchased separately.
